WIFT NZ Events

Lynnette has been active in WIFT since attending Welcome to The Firm in 2007.  Her first production work came about when a family friend directing a short film decided Lynnette's attention to detail would be useful in continuity.  As she had also just been offered a job doing research and outreach for the Public Affairs Office of the United States Embassy in Wellington, Lynnette flew to Auckland on weekends for the shoots.  Since then, she has been a casting assistant, production coordinator, and segment producer. As a researcher and writer, Lynnette has a few projects in development, including a documentary about her grandmother's experiences as a "human computer" for NASA - a suggestion from Executive Director Susi Newborn during her interview for the Financial Administrator position at WIFTNZ. One of Lynnette's favourite activities outside of the screen production industry is running a weekend homework centre in a public library.
