Whitebait-TV seeks a proven sales person with creative flair to join the team as a Sales Representative. If you excel in sales but feel restricted creatively then this is the position for you. The role has three key areas of responsibility;

 

  • Winning new business
  • Servicing existing client accounts
  • Maintaining relationships with key contacts at the TV Networks

To be a success in this role you will be results driven, inventive, outgoing and always professional. You will be experienced in establishing client briefs and understanding clients marketing objectives. You will be confident in developing creative ideas for clients TV commercials or visual media requirements and managing the process from brief and budgeting through to the final on screen product. You will also have the ability to work under pressure, multi task and to meet sales targets.

 

Advertising Agency or media sales experience is an advantage as is knowledge of television production.

Television Fitness Presenter

We are looking for a charismatic person to join our dynamic team as a Television Fitness Presenter

Do you have great on screen presence and a confident personality?

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a fitness presenter to demonstrate our products on TV One's Good Morning programme.

 

Brand Developers Ltd is Australasia's leading direct response television company.  Many of our products are household names and our infomercials and advertorials are watched by millions across New Zealand and Australia.

 

As one of the faces of Brand Developers, you will have the ability to demonstrate our products in a convincing way.   Excellent communication and presentation skills are a pre-requisite.

 

You will need to be fit, be able to lift heavy weights and have the ability to use our fitness equipment with ease.

 

It is desirable that you are able to memorise a four minute script.

We are looking for an Executive Producer to lead a close knit team of producers and reporters to continue to be the best daily Maori news programme in the country.

 

You will have experience and a flair for producing live television. You will be fluent in te reo Maori and have exceptional editorial skills. Reporting into John Gillespie, Editor Daily Programmes and Shane Taurima the GM of Maori & Pacific Programmes, you'll have the energy, mana and successful leadership experience to lead and inspire your team.

 

You need to care about accuracy and not be afraid to work hard and not shy away from conflict, while operating fairly and ethically.

Producer - Marae Investigates

Are you an experienced programme maker with superb journalism skills and has a good understanding of Maori culture? If so, you could be the person that we are looking for.

 

Marae Investigates is New Zealand's most watched Maori current affairs programme that airs on Sunday mornings on TV One.

 

We are looking for an experienced Producer to produce Marae Investigates to a high editorial standard, and constantly seek to improve and evolve the shows on-screen potential in line with the funding brief. Reporting to Shane Taurima, the GM of Maori & Pacific Programmes you will provide leadership and direction to the Marae Investigates team.

 

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience and knowledge of television production and of journalism. An understanding of programming, scheduling and other technical activities required to put programmes to air is essential. Ideally you will have experience developing, commissioning, planning and producing news and current affairs, documentary and magazine style programmes.

 

You will have an understanding of Maori culture and Maori language skills would be a huge advantage but not mandatory. A tertiary qualification in journalism or Media studies is also desirable.

Production Manager/ Directors Assistan

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join the SKY Sports team at our Auckland studio.

 

In this exciting role your will provide efficient administration support to the production and delivery of programme content across the various sports codes from venue or studio to ensure the highest possible broadcast quality.

 

This is a demanding role which requires exceptional organisational skills with good judgement under time pressure, so you must have relative work experience, a background as a Production Manager and knowledge of the requirements of television operational procedures.

 

Obviously you'll also need to have a good knowledge and passion for Sport too!

 

In this role, amongst other things, you will be responsible for:

Co-ordination of production team bookings and all travel logistics for allocated studio and outside broadcast productions

Work closely with Business Manager & Producers in setting up budgets  and process accounts payable on nominated  accounting system

Preparation of Schedules and Scripts as determined by the producer on allocated productions

Collate & Update Internal Staff & Contractors rosters and contact lists

Perform duties as Directors Assistant in Studio and on Outside Broadcasts.

On live Events communicate directly with presentation and/or world feed rights holders on event timings & scripts

Assist in planning and organising of allocated programmes & studio shows to ensure efficiencies within allocated budget

 

For this role you will need:

Proven experience and knowledge of television sport production  management

TV Experience as production or director's assistant

Experienced in use of MS systems: Outlook,Word,PowerPoint, Excel

Knowledge of Television and/or  Sport Production

Good all round communication & can do attitude

Producer - I AM TV (7 month Fixed Term)

I AM TV is a cool, epic, Maori youth show! It's on weekly for half an hour on Saturday at 10am from July until late December 2013. The reason this is a fixed term is due to a short production season, requiring pitching of the programme yearly to NZ on air for funding. The good news is that funding is all secured for 2013, so your first task will be to scout out a cool and energetic team of Presenters and Production crew passionate about Maori youth.

 

If you have a genuine interest and have your finger on the pulse with youth trends, issues, music and events and can bring innovative story-telling techniques to our ever-changing media landscape, then we want to hear from you. We want to continue to deliver a highly visual and engaging programme to our screens.
