Writer/director
Jane wrote the short film One Night, which was funded by the BBC and Northern Ireland Screen, produced in Belfast and selected for the London Independent and Belfast Film Festivals. Back in Wellington, Jane wrote and directed My Secret Valentine, which was a finalist in Tropfest NZ 2014. Also in 2014, Jane directed the 48HOURS film Deathday Wishes, which was nominated for a number of 48HOURS awards at both regional and national level. More recently she wrote and directed About Troy, which is currently in post-production, and directed Bastard, which was made as part of the Oneshot Collective film Encounters.
Jane also takes on a number of other roles on different productions, including co-producing the feature film Status Update, and working on a number of short films, in the camera department or as editor. While living in Belfast, Jane was part of a BBC/Northern Ireland Screen traineeship programme, undertaking a series of paid placements both within the BBC and with independent production companies. She also spent a number of months as DIT trainee on season 3 of HBO's Game of Thrones.
Jane is developing a number of scripts for film, television and web, is making a documentary about a rally team, and is also a freelance editor and videographer.
