Insurance Broker
Lisa Ciniglio moved to New Zealand in 2018 from Vancouver, Canada where she'd been working for Canada's largest film production insurance broker Front Row Insurance. She joined Mahony Film & Entertainment Insurance to focus on and develop film and TV insurance in New Zealand. Lisa has arranged tailored insurance solutions for production companies with their feature films, TV shows, reality shows, documentaries, TV commercials, and music videos. She's worked with the likes of Warner Bros, Netflix, Sony, MarVista, ABC, Hallmark, ITV, Paramount and HBO.
Since arriving in New Zealand, the biggest production policy she's placed was for Endeavor Content, a US client shooting the action-thriller film Shadow in the Cloud in Auckland. It starred Chloë Grace Moretz and was directed by WIFT NZ member Roseanne Liang. She's also provided New Zealand inbound insurance for a few Netflix productions including Falling Inn Love and The Letter for the King and a Warner Bros pilot called Sweet Tooth. The multi-talented Lisa has acting experience, and, until 2004, worked with horses, having attended an equestrian college in England. When she's not busy working Lisa likes to stay fit with Cross Fit classes, gym training and yoga, and she horseriding when possible. She loves getting out and exploring her new home country with her Kiwi nephew and niece.
