Wellington Screenings....

If you haven't already seen Fantail, pop along to a screening of WIFT member, Sophie Henderson's entertaining and touching first feature.  It's a joy!

Fantail is a story about belonging. Sweet, bitter and eccentric, the debut feature film from Sophie Henderson (writer, actor) and Curtis Vowell (director) was named one of the Dominion Post's top ten films of 2013.

Tania, a Pākehā girl who thinks she's Māori, spends her nights working at the petrol station, saving all her money so she can take her brother Piwakawaka to Surfer's Paradise to find their dad. But flitting and dodging in true fantail spirit, Pi causes plans to go awry.
