You'll be pleased to see that the Sundance Film Festival (24 Jan
2019 - 3 Feb 2019) is ramping up its inclusion and transparency
efforts. New hires on its programming team and new initiatives will
deepen support for independent storytellers and broaden access to
the Festival. The 2019 Festival will showcase work drawn from over
14,200 submissions, a record high. Sundance aims to welcome a more
inclusive critics pool by allocating at least 20% of top-tier press
passes to underrepresented writers, including women, people of
colour, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and people with
disabilities.
