POrtrait of a Lady on Fire

Our competition this week is for five double passes to the Cannes award-winning film Portrait Of A Lady On Fire, set in Brittany, France, 1760. Marianne, a painter, is commissioned to do the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young lady who has just left the convent. Héloïse is a reluctant bride-to- be and Marianne must paint her without her knowing. She observes her by day and secretly paints her at night. Intimacy and attraction grow between the two women as they share Héloïse's first and last moments of freedom, all whilst Marianne paints the portrait that will end it all. This beautifully calibrated and incandescent romance took home both Best Screenplay and the Queer Palm at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Portrait Of A Lady On Fire will screen in New Zealand cinemas on 14 November, 2019.

We have five double passes to give away - to be in the draw to win, click here to watch the trailer and answer the question below!
