The organisers of the Māoriland Film Festival are keen to spread the word that it's still going ahead, March 18 - 22. However there are a few changes to venues in order to keep screenings within the Government's gathering capacity of 500 people (to help avoid the spread of COVID 19).

MFF2020 offers films from over 92 Indigenous nations across the globe all with the theme of Me Reretau - Be in Balance. Check out films from Aotearoa, Australia, the Pacific, South America and from the Indigenous peoples of Russia, northern Canada, Greenland, Iceland and Sápmi in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Russia in the north, as well as from Ainu, Bengali, Tao, Kelabit and Iran.
