screen industry: Location management.

Managers' Course is supported by Screen Auckland, and is an
exclusive specialised training course designed for committed,
hardworking individuals who want to learn television and film
location management procedures and how to manage locations
effectively and efficiently.
The course will include:
Departmental overview, script breakdown,
scouting, budgeting, negotiating, permitting &
consultation, tech recces, working with other departments,
final prep, the shoot, wrap and the effects of Covid-19 on
Location Logistics. Eight participants will be selected from the
Auckland region to take part in this course which will include a
practical day in setting up a shoot.
This is a four-day course - two days will take
place via Zoom with one practical day and one day debrief in
person, with sessions led by a variety of experienced and respected
screen industry professionals.
