Local News Reporter/Editor, Dunedin

Channel 9 - Dunedin Television is seeking a committed Reporter/Editor to join its small but productive team. They produce a half-hour local news bulletin every weeknight from studios in Dunedin.

The successful applicant should have a background in broadcast journalism, and be capable of producing (reporting/voicing/ editing) two tracks a day for the nightly news, as well as writing RVOs, written items and studio interviews.

Excellent time management skills, the ability to work within a small team in a high-stress environment and a self-starter attitude are required. Experience in traditional linear editing and camera operation is preferred, although not essential for quick learners.

Key skills sought: A background in broadcast journalism, capability of producing (reporting/voicing/ editing) two tracks a day for the nightly news.
