The Women in Hollywood blog has broken down the proportion of women's films in next year's Sundance Film Fest, reporting that women directed 25% of the films in dramatic and 43% of the films in the documentary competitions respectively.
In the Dramatic Competition category, 16 films were chosen out of a total of 1,102 entries. Women directed 4 out of those 16 films. That's 25%. Each will be a world premiere.
