International Financing Forum (IFF) at the Toronto International Film Festival (1)

Posted Tuesday 13 Jul 2010

New Zealand producers are invited to apply for this year's International Financing Forum (IFF) - a feature film co-financing event at the Toronto International Film Festival. The event brings together selected international and Canadian producers developing English language projects to do business by means of brokered meetings and networking opportunities with other international producers, as well as international sales agents, distributors, funders, agents, and executive producers. Eligible applicants must have at a minimum, one full producer credit (not executive producer credit) on a theatrically released feature by a recognisable distributor, and a market orientated project in development that requires international co-production and/or financing partners. The NZ Film Commission is able to offer Producer's Market assistance for up to two participants to attend IFF in 2010. Producers must apply directly to IFF, approaching the NZFC for financial assistance only once an acceptance letter has been received. Requests for NZFC financial assistance from successful applicants should be made care of Paul Swadel paul@nzfilm.co.nz. Application deadline for international producers is July 23. For further information and to apply please see the call for applications.
