An article in the New Zealand Herald looks at the domestic flavour of the 2010 New Zealand International Film Festival which opens in Auckland in July before it travels throughout the country up until November.  The article notes that the focus on Auckland has been highlighted in the festival programme through a section titled "Auckland Erupts" dedicated to the five features set in the city having their world premieres at this year's event.  The films are After The Waterfall, The Hopes and Dreams of Gazza Snell starring WIFT NZ member Robyn Malcolm, the documentary Gordonia, Insatiable Moon and Russian Snark. The most eagerly anticipated New Zealand film however is Predicament, set in 1930s small-town Taranaki and starring Jemaine Clement (as well as featuring new WIFT ED's brother!).  To read the article, visit the New Zealand Herald website.  For more information about the New Zealand Film Festival, visit nzff.co.nz.
