Broadcasting Minister Jonathan Coleman has announced the appointment of Caren Rangi to the board of NZ On Air. Ms Rangi, a chartered accountant, has extensive public sector experience having worked in a range of organisations including the Office of the Auditor General and Audit New Zealand. She was also a consultant at Public Sector Performance New Zealand and established her own business, Ei Mua Consulting Ltd, in 2008. Ms Rangi has been appointed for a three-year term until 20 April 2013.
