Salt & Vinegar, a short film produced by WIFT NZ member Leela Menon, and written and directed by Karyn Childs, has been accepted into competition in the acclaimed International Short Film Festival Oberhausen in Germany. Salt & Vinegar is one of only two NZ shorts to win selection out of almost 6000 entries  for the Oberhausen festival  - the other is Six Dollar Fifty Man.  This marks the fifteenth festival acceptance for the independently funded Salt & Vinegar.  Other selections include the WIFTV Women in Film Festival 2010 in Vancouver and the WIFT Minnesota Short Film Showcase on 14 March, which Leela entered after seeing the call for entries in WIFT NZ's e-news.
