The Lower Hutt Creative Communities New Zealand Scheme is a partnership between Creative New Zealand and the Hutt City Council. Its purpose is to increase participation in the arts at a local level, and to increase the range and diversity of arts available to communities through this funding scheme. Funding is available via two funding rounds each year. Please be aware that the funding round that is meant to close in September 2010 has been brought forward due to elections, therefore applications are now due by 30th July 2010. The committee meeting will be held on the 9th September 2010. Applications must be for projects that start after the committee meeting in September. Applications for projects that start before the committee will be deemed ineligible.
