Following the recent acquisition of a major stake in the leading South African production company Aquavision, NHNZ has announced that it has become the lead-agent for Aquavision's stock footage library, which can now be licensed through NHNZ Moving Images. Aquavision's stock footage library is one of the most comprehensive in Africa and contains more than 3,000 hours of high definition (HD) wildlife footage as well as underwater footage filmed throughout the Indian Ocean archipelago. NHNZ Moving Images manager, Caroline Cook, says this makes NHNZ the one-stop shop for Africa stock footage and puts NHNZ's Moving Images in the position to fulfil most HD requirements for broadcasters and production companies wanting to do set pieces and background productions on South Africa.
