The online call for submissions for the 2011 MeetMarket at the Australian International Documentary Conference is now open. 25 competitively selected documentary projects will feature in MeetMarket at AIDC in March 1st to 4th 2011. MeetMarket is designed to match selected documentary makers' most innovative project ideas with over 50 national and international executive producers, broadcasters and distributors attending.
MeetMarket provides the opportunity for creative and original ideas to be fast-tracked within a supportive and structured setting. Projects entered may be at any stage of development, production or post-production.
The online submission deadline is: Monday 29 November 2010
The NZFC will consider applications for assistance to attend MeetMarket from up to three selected NZ filmmakers with projects that have genuine theatrical release potential. Requests for NZFC financial assistance from successful applicants should be made care of Paul Swadel paul@nzfilm.co.nz.
