Emerging Television Director

In association with Te M?ngai P?ho, T?manako Productions is offering an exciting 'on the job' training opportunity for an emerging television director. The successful applicant will be attached to the production "M?haro" and will enjoy a targeted training programme covering many aspects of television directing in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The position will run for approximately four months from late January 2011.

Priority will be given to applicants with:

• high capability in te reo Maori
• ?some previous training and/or experience in television production
• ?a passion for story-telling and a genuine desire to pursue a career in
• directing factual programmes
• a commitment to kaupapa Maori television
