Unitec is celebrating the arrival of spring with their annual dance spectacular, Choreofest: Te Mahuru Spring 2010. Choreofest is a stimulating dance triptych of unique and innovative student works from New Zealand's leading contemporary dance and choreography programme. These exciting works offer a fresh and varied perspective on art, life and performance through the eyes of the Unitec Dance School's first, second year and graduating contemporary dance students.
The three-part performance season opened on Wednesday, 25th August with Choreofest: Tahi; a four-day event featuring the first year dance students. The second year students will then perform Choreofest: Rua on 8th-11th September. The season closes with the graduating class of third year students in Choreofest: Toru on 22nd-25th September.
