Dame Kate Harcourt won the Best Female Actress category at the 2011 Rhode Island International Film Festival for her role in short film Pacific Dreams. In the film she plays lead character Grace, an elderly woman who is determined to liven up her rest home. Pacific Dreams was one of the 200 films selected for the festival out of more than 4500 submissions. It has also been selected for other festivals including the 2011 New York City International Film Festival.
