In this interview in the December issue of Vogue/Italy, actor Geena Davis talks about her movie career and film experiences as well as her quest to make gender equality, and women's images, a much more prominent focus in the entertainment industry. She discusses the results of a recent study that illustrates Hollywood's need to change its perception, and its depiction, of females and why educating young people is a prime focus. "It is always the same story. But nothing will change because men don't want to see films with women protagonists, while the opposite is true. So? So we educate starting from children," she says.
