Some weeks we see headlines like these and wish we were goldfish instead of women. At least then we could view the same old annoying news with a bit of surprise (although it's not quite 'hey, sunken treasure!'). In this case, it's yet more reportage about the ever-frustrating 'Celluloid Ceiling.' In this post, Melissa Silverstein on Women and Hollywood chews over the findings from a Celluloid Ceiling Study from Dr. Martha Lauzen Executive Director, Center for the Study of Women in Television and Film at San Diego State University.
And even our own NZ Herald has run an eeny weeny story about the same study - although we can't help noticing that the original story was in the Independent...
At least both articles make the point that 'women are not giving up'.
