Those of you London-based or London-bound in the next couple of weeks should have the Bird's Eye Film Fest firmly on your must-do list. From 8 - 17 March, Birds Eye View is back at the British Film Institute Southbank, with an electric and eclectic showcase of work by women from across the world. Highlights include the London premiere of Susanne Bier's Oscar-nominated In a Better World, plus Lena Dunham's SXSW-winning debut Tiny Furniture and Zeina Durra's subversive The Imperialists Are Still Alive! Documentary picks include Oscar-nominee Lucy Walker's Countdown to Zero (plus director masterclass); Julie Moggan's Guilty Pleasures, probing the international Mills and Boon phenomenon; and Orgasm Inc., Liz Canner's sensational insider account of the commercialisation of female sexuality.

Sound & Silents hits the Southbank Centre with Grammy Award-winner Imogen Heap performing her new score to The Seashell and the Clergyman. Plus innovation workshops, training events, parties, awards and a splash of glamour. Check out the full line-up at www.birds-eye-view.co.uk
