Maori Television has recently promoted veteran television broadcaster Carol Hirschfeld to the newly created position of General Manager Production. Former TVNZ Deputy Chief executive Stephen Smith has also been appointed to new position General Manager Digital. These two new positions reflect a change in the company structure to give Maori Television a more "fit-for-future" model.
