The WIFT NZ office has received the government's response to the Jackson/Court review of the New Zealand Film Commission. In its response it also outlines a wider screen sector work programme that will be jointly led by the Ministry for Culture and Heritage and the Ministry of Economic Development in consultation with the sector over the next year. Officials will be examining key government interventions in the screen sector, including the Screen Production Incentive Fund and the Large Budget Screen Production Grant, to ensure they are well targeted, complimentary and effective in supporting the government's objectives for the sector.
