WIFT NZ would like to congratulate staff member Susan Wills who had her baby last week. Pia Zahara was born at 8.45 on the morning of 5th July!

In other news, the 2011 New Zealand International Film Festival is almost upon us. It hits Auckland on Thursday, then the rest of the country within the next few months. Don't forget that WIFT NZ members can get discounted tickets! An exciting new addition to the festival this year is Auckland's Film Cafe, situated in the Wintergarden under the Civic theatre. As well as being a place to mix and mingle and soak up the atmosphere, the film cafe will also be hosting an incredible lineup of events including a film talk by WIFT NZ member Annie Goldson.
