Creative Director, Auckland

TVNZ is looking for a creative director to join their Creative Hub team and be responsible for delivering strong creative ideas and execute a wide range of consistently high quality elements across a range of campaign executions.
Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, this is a creative leadership role which also involves producing key campaigns and projects. You must be creatively talented with a proven track record, possessing the ability to develop strong ideas and execute them to a very high standard, specifically excellent copywriting.
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate the ability to creatively lead within a television environment. Experience producing promotions is key, as are strong leadership and communication skills to develop effective relationships with key client contacts. Experience producing News and Current Affairs promotions and leading on-air promotions in a live news environment would be also be advantageous.
You will be responsible for creatively directing Creative Producers, and therefore you must be able to articulate the brand strategy and vision clearly and consistently. You are expected to coach and develop the Producers' skills and creative ability, inspiring them whilst providing clear feedback to ensure they always deliver on the brief.
Finally, as a key member of The Creative Hub management team, you will contribute to strategy and idea generation for the team as a whole. You will need the ability and flexibility to move across channel brands from time to time and deliver on other key projects.
