Instructions for Living, at the Pelorus Trust mediagallery, is a selection of publicly funded TV ads giving an intimate portrait of New Zealand's social landscape, and focuses on clips that were commissioned by Government organisations. This selection highlights policies, ideas and social trends which were formative in New Zealand's social development starting from the 1960s and ending in the 2000s. The material displayed demonstrates the way social issues are handled and portrayed through the public medium of advertising. Want to know more? Here you go.
