South Pacific Pictures, in association with Script to Screen, present the South Pacific Pictures Emerging Writers' Lab call for applications.
If you are an enthusiastic Auckland-based writer, don't miss this incredible opportunity to learn from the best and get a foot in the door.
South Pacific Pictures is New Zealand's leading television drama production company. The eight successful applicants will gain hands-on experience of writing for television as they immerse themselves in five days intensive storylining of a new series idea, under the guidance of Head of Development Tim Balme and tutor Maxine Fleming. Guest mentors will include Rachel Lang, James Griffin and Steven Zanoski.
Previous creative industry experience is a requirement, however you need not be produced or published.
The Lab will run from 1 - 5 August 2011. Participants will be contracted and paid for their week's participation. You must be Auckland-based to apply.
