Registrations are now open for this year's March du Film in Cannes. This year the market takes place from 11 - 20 May. The New Zealand Film Commission is registered as an Umbrella organisation with Cannes, which means filmmakers can register online under their "umbrella" at a reduced rate of 249 (297.80 including taxes) for the Marche du Film and 279 (333.68 including taxes) for the Producers Network.
Please email jasmin@nzfilm.co.nz for a company umbrella code to use when registering online.
The reduced rates are valid only during on-line registration on http://www.marchedufilm.com, and should be completed before 10 April to be listed in the Market Guide. You can still register online until the end of April but those who register after 10 April will not be listed in the Market Guide.
As per the industry meetings at the end of last year the NZFC are looking at ways to better support people attending markets which will most probably mean fewer will receive support. Details regarding travel and support to Cannes will be available shortly.
Don't forget that the NZ Film Commission also has a Facebook page where you can also keep up-to-date on industry happenings.
