A WIFT member sent us this link to some footage that was shot of Christchurch which clearly shows the extent of the city's devastation.
Cameraman Gareth Bryant said " I was asked by Civil Defence to record the city for archival use and to show the areas not seen at the time by the media. It took two days to record. I got down a cameraman mate to shoot most of it - brilliant Jake Bryant - my camera got pretty munted in the second quake. We then spent a week editing and making a sound scape. The Civil Defence allowed this to be played at the memorial and then released it to all media." Worth a watch to see how worthwhile all your donations are�
