Benefit Film Screening, Auckland

Save 16 June for a benefit screening of Early Days Yet, a documentary about the life of great New Zealand poet Allen Curnow. Made in the last years of Allen Curnow's life, Early Days Yet is a 70-minute documentary directed by Shirley Horrocks. It is an engaging in-depth record of Allen's life and work, the only profile of the poet. It was screened by the International Film Festival, by TV One, and by the ABC in Australia. Screening starts 8pm, wine from 7.15pm. Tickets are $35 per person (includes a glass of wine). Venue: The Bridgeway Cinema, Northcote.

Proceeds from this event will go to The Cancer Society of New Zealand.
