We were incredibly pleased to hear recently that one of last year's interns, and currently a Masters student in Screen Production, has just finished shooting a documentary in Iran, the US and Canada. Ghazaleh Golbakhsh grew up in NZ, and returned to Iran after a 17-year absence to shoot her documentary about what home really means. She is a Fulbright Scholar and is about to travel to the US to study at the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. While the scholarship covers a large portion of her fees and expenses, she is hoping to attract additional sponsorship to make the trip possible. She is definitely an up-and-comer - here's more about her.
