Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women

Posted Tuesday 15 Nov 2011

The 52nd session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)) will be held in July 2012, in New York. Reporting countries at this session include New Zealand.
A 'pre-session' hearing has just taken place from 3 - 21 October 2011 in Geneva. It provides an opportunity for organisations to comment on the information provided in the Government's report, so the Committee can ask the Government to respond to any issues raised.
