Professional Development Questionnaire

Posted Tuesday 29 Nov 2011

After a recent meeting with SINZ, the Ministry of Culture and Heritage has prepared a short questionnaire on professional development, aimed at individuals working in the screen industry.
The closing date for the survey is Friday 16 December. The link is ScreenProfessionalDevelopmentSurvey. Only one response will be allowed per computer.
The Introduction to the Survey reads as follows:
"The survey has resulted from a recommendation in the Peter Jackson/David Court review of the NZ Film Commission that professional development in the screen industry (film, television and new media) needs to be managed by an independent body funded by an industry levy.
The survey does not ask questions about forms of training other than professional development, such as that provided at secondary or tertiary institutions. However, the last question invites feedback of any nature.
Professional development is defined as structured training opportunities for professionals in the workplace eg workshops, short-courses, mentoring, internships."
