Post4 is TVNZ's full service post production facility and due to continuing growth they need an experienced Senior Video Editor to join the team. You'll work across a variety of genres from documentaries to commercials but always with a collaborative approach, adding value to every edit.
You will be a dynamic customer-focused Editor with strong storytelling capabilities and an eye for detail. You will be well-organised and able to excel while working under pressure. You'll have a track record of building strong relationships and communicating effectively with clients, directors, producers and the wider editing team. You will have an interest in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of editing technology and workflows. TVNZ operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, meaning shift work is required, so being flexible and able to adapt is also important in this role.
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years editing experience in a post production facility or broadcaster, with advanced Avid Media Composer skills and the ability to utilise the edit systems to their full capability. Adobe After Effects and Photoshop experience is desirable.
