More Kiwis Off to Brisbane International Film Festival

An award-winning feature and short, plus a couple of older treasures, make the trip to Brisbane for this year's BIFF.The Kiwi offer is led by the APSA-nominated The Orator, making its first trip to Australia. Also screening is Stephen Kang's short Blue, with Pablo Giorgelli`s Argentinian road movie Las Acacias.
There are also two films from the NZ Film Archive vaults: Barry Barclay's 1987 Ngati, produced by John O'Shea (and claimed as the first feature made by a filmmaker of Maori descent), and James Sullivan`s 1924 silent Venus of the South Seas.
BIFF runs 3 - 13 November, ahead of the APSAs on 24 November.
