TVNZ is looking for a Social Media Manager. Every day, more than 2.5 million New Zealanders watch TV ONE, TV2, TVNZ 6, TVNZ 7 and TVNZ Heartland, not only on their televisions, but also over the internet and on their mobile phones, PS3s and iPads.
Reporting to the GM Marketing, your primary aim will be to drive engagement and create revenue opportunities from TVNZ content on existing and new platforms. The role includes the promotion and development of TVNZ's key programme and channel brands across social media to drive audiences and shape perception of TVNZ and its output across multiple screens - TV, online and mobile.
You will work with other social media organisations including Facebook, Google, and Twitter to enhance and develop effective communities around TVNZ programme brands, as well as working with internal departments to promote TVNZ success and innovation in the online space and ensure TVNZ stays on the cutting-edge of social marketing exploration.
