Applications for this year's Short Film Lab close on 9 September. If you have an idea for a short film that you want to develop then this is a great opportunity for you. Up to six writers or writers/directors will be selected to participate in this year's workshop. Those selected will be mentored by industry practitioners experienced in short filmmaking. Mentors include Paul Swadel (Poppy, Infection, Accidents), screenwriter and academic Shuchi Kothari (Firaaq, Apron Strings, Coffee and Allah) and animator/director James Cunningham (Das Tub, Poppy, Infection).
