Decline in Number of Women Working in TV in the US

A recent report from the Center for the Study of Women in Television and Film at San Diego State University showed that the number of women writers and directors for prime-time broadcasts in the US has substantially declined since the last report. The number of women writers dropped from 29% in the 2009-2010 season to 15% in the 2010-2011 season. Women directors dropped from 16% to 11%. Read the full article here.
