A one-day policy conference in Canberra - Jobs, Dollars, Hearts and Minds will feature Dr Ruth Harley, ex CEO of the NZFC and current head of Screen Australia. Dr Harley will chair a panel discussion - Why Does Australian Content Matter? - on the future for Australian content. The conference hosted by Screen Australia will look at the key issues and opportunities facing screen businesses and Australian content. Industry leaders and decision makers will describe their visions for the future, alongside new audience research and results from the first Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) screen sector survey in six years.
Speakers include Arts Minister Tony Burke, Senator George Brandis and Screen Australia Chair Glen Boreham AM.
