Screen Hub Sticky Pictures' animated series Dukes of Br�xst�nia has been commissioned for a third season on ABC3, with an expanded seven-minute episode format. The show started as a series of shorts produced for the launch of the ABC kids digital channel. It follows the adventures of a teenage band called the Dukes.

Writer's Room for April

At this month's Script-to-Screen Auckland Writer's Room, two of NZ's most esteemed writers delve into their techniques for developing characters and give their thoughts on what makes great a character.

Join novelist  Lloyd Jones and playwright/screenwriter  Roger Hall as they talk about drawing bold and real characters and taking them where they need to go.

Come early for a drink and complimentary nibbles in the newly opened Sir Paul Reeves building at AUT.
