Script to Screen and the NZ Film Commission present three open seminars and panel discussions as part of the First Feature Lab. Take a closer look at development and co-writing with Keith Thompson; hear Alison Maclean talk about the transition from short film to features; and delve into creative producing with Philippa Campbell.

Collaboration and Development with Keith Thompson
A follow up to Keith Thompson's session at the Big Screen Symposium last year. Keith will discuss the process of co-writing versus script editing and how writing in collaboration can strengthen the development process.

From short films to features and beyond with Alison Maclean
Alison Maclean discusses the transition from short films to features, the advantages of the short film medium, and what elements make a story best suited to which medium. As a director with extensive international experience she will delve into the different demands of working around the world in both film and television.
