We are delighted to announce that we will be holding a workshop for all those actively involved in feature film development, in September.
"The Producer's Role in Development" will be run by Claire Dobbin.
WIFT is bringing Claire to New Zealand in the first week of September as part of our professional intensive programme. Once we have an indication of numbers we will determine where and when these half-day workshops happen. We expect to start in Auckland on 2/3 September then Wellington and possibly Christchurch will depend on numbers. If you are interested in attending please let us know as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can finalise dates and cities.
Claire Dobbin is an Australian script adviser/editor who works with development agencies around the world. Claire is on the board of Quinoxe Germany and is a script adviser to international participants of the workshop. For 14 years she was the Senior Script Executive at the Australian Film Commission and Director of its Melbourne office. Claire is currently Chair of the Melbourne International Film Festival.
