TV3's POPULAR DOCUMENTARY SERIES 'BOTH WORLDS' IS SEEKING NEW STORIES!

Posted Thursday 05 Dec 2013

Both Worlds puts an innovative spin on special interest programming for TV3, where ten young New Zealanders turn a camera on themselves to uncover the diverse and changing nature of what it means to be a Kiwi today. Now in its third series, we are looking for another group of young New Zealanders to tell their stories.

GET INVOLVED

We would like to offer you the opportunity to express who you are, and how you fit into the NZ community. If you have a compelling story, or know someone who does, then we'd love to talk to you!

With your help, let's open minds and grind stereotypes into dust by demonstrating just how diverse individuals from NZ's migrant, ethnic and refugee communities are!

DOES ONE OR SOME OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO YOU..

1.     Are you a 1.5, 2nd or 3rd generation Kiwi?
2.     Are you European or Maori with your own personal story of living in-between cultural worlds.
3.     Do you have an interesting or unexpected job?
4.     Are you in a cross-cultural relationship?
5.     Are you exploring interesting ways to engage with your ethnic community/NZ culture?
6.     Are you facing a dilemma that requires greater cross-cultural understanding?
7.     Are you studying something unique or creating something visually or musically interesting,
8.     Do have an unusual or fascinating past time?
9.     Are you engaged in helping your community, or the wider community?
10.     Are you about to participate in an exciting event or activity?
11.  Do you own, manage or work in a business that is catering for an ethnic community or selling cultural based products?
12.  Are you a 3rd generation Kiwi looking to reconnect with your roots?
13.  Is your sexuality at odds with aspects of your culture or religion?
14.  Do your religious beliefs cause conflict or struggle in your life?
15.  Most of all, do you have a story that you feel would be interesting to a TV3 audience?

Series two aired in 2013 and can still be viewed via TV3 on demand.  http://www.tv3.co.nz/Both-Worlds/tabid/3015/articleID/77958/Default.aspx
