Veteran broadcaster and TV presenter Angela Rippon, critically acclaimed actress Sheridan Smith, inspirational presenter Mary Beard and acclaimed producer Pippa Harris were just some of the outstanding women from the world of film and television to be honoured at the 23rd annual Women in Film and TV Awards ceremony at the Park Lane London Hilton last week. Okay so it's a slightly more glam event than our own effort, but great to see women in film and tv, no matter where they are in the world, being acknowleged.
Outrageous presenter and comedian, Ruby Wax hosted the glamorous event where almost 1,000 of film and TV's most influential industry guests gathered to celebrate the year's most inspiring women.
