Romy Hooper

We are delighted to welcome Romy Hooper to the WIFT team as our events intern. While Romy has an acting background (she plays recurring blonde bombshell 'Courtney' in TV1's Nothing Trivial) she is keen to expand her skills in production and events. Romy graduated from Toi Whakaari in 2009 and has since been very active in the performing industry. In recent years, she has appeared on Shortland St, and in a number of short films one of which screened in last year's Auckland International Film Festival We Talk About Loss. She also starred in, produced and directed Closer by Patrick Marber, and Stephen Belbers' Tape.  Romy is looking forward to ensuring WIFT's events this year are a raging success.
