WIFT 2013 Programme Launch and WIFT International short film screening
Thursday March 7, 6 pm, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch (venues to be advised.)
This year we've got a double bill - a sneak peak at some of the terrific events and workshops we have planned for 2013.
Followed by screenings of The Lost Garden - the life of and cinema of Alice Guy-Blache together with our edited highlights of the best short films from WIFT International member countries.
Check out a preview of The Lost Garden here

(Alice Blache is regarded as the first woman film maker. She learnt her craft in her native France working for Leon Gaumont, before starting her own production company in the US in 1910.)
This event is the perfect lead in to International Women's Day, on Thursday March 7, (that's the day before IWD.)
Our sponsor Kahurangi Estate are providing some delicious wine and there will be some nibbles to go with it.
This is a free event for members, ($15 non-members) and everyone is welcome so come along and enjoy the films, and the chance to meet up with fellow WIFT members.
