WIFT NZ and the Film School, Wellington congratulate Seanne Culhane - winner of this year's Robin Laing Scholarship.
Named after WIFT Wellington founder and leading NZ film producer Robin Laing, the scholarship was set up to provide financial assistance to female students at The Film School who demonstrate the potential to be significant contributors to the screen production industry.
Seanne will receive $2000 and a WIFT membership (see Seanne's profile on our website).
The award is given after a competitive application process and this year all five entrants were so strong that WIFT has awarded each of them a membership for the coming year. The judges believe that they will all be an asset to the industry in the future - so look out for these names in the years to come..
We welcome Seanne Culhane, Khadeeja Dean, Sophie Lloyd, Emma Olsen and Kayleighsha Wharton to the ranks of Women in Film and Television. Congratulations and good luck in your careers!
